Praising God at the site of the New Church Building – this Sunday 25th June 12:15pm 1

For many years we have been praying for a new building – one large enough to fit us all in – and a tool we can use to run events to reach others in Caterham with the Good News of Jesus’ love.

We have seen amazing answers to prayer!

  • a site to build the new building on
  • a design that fulfils the needs we have
  • planning permission
  • a building firm prepared to start the project…

We are praising God for these developments!

This Monday (26th June) the building site will be handed to Westridge as they begin construction. The next opportunity for us to enter the site after this will be when the building is complete!

To give thanks, and to pray for this wonderful new step, we would like to meet on the site to pray this Sunday 25th June.

After our morning meeting, at 12:15pm, we will head over to the site.

If you are able to, please park in Chaldon Road or Coulsdon Road and walk to the entrance on Heath Road, there will also be some space for parking on the site itself by driving through the gates (dead slow!) in Heath Road.

We will gather in the centre of the site and praise God for His generous provision and pray for blessing on this next step! It will be wonderful to stand there together and commit these next steps into God’s hands.

We have arranged barriers to protect children from the unsafe areas but, parents and guardians, please keep smaller children with you at all times! It would be great if we could also avoid climbing on the big heap of rubble and ensure we don’t damage the “reptile fences” – we still have to comply with various eco-rules to be allowed to continue with the project.

By 12:50pm we’ll be back on our way towards our Sunday lunches as we continue to praise God for all He is doing among us!
