Thanksgiving and Dedication for our new Church Building: 9th June

For 35 years we have prayed for and worked towards a new building: a tool to use to share the good news of Jesus in our town of Caterham and a place where we can grow closer to Him and to each other.

There have been many moments when it seemed that a new home for Oakhall Church was an impossible dream. We praise God for the generous way that He has answered our prayer!

This year we are planning a number of occasions to celebrate God’s goodness to us as a church family. We are also hosting a number of special guest events that are designed to welcome Caterham into our new home: a house-warming week that we have called our “Opening Week” (4th-10th Feb).

On Sunday 3rd February, our morning meeting will include a time of thanksgiving for and dedication of the new building. This will be particularly for those of us who live in the area and who are already a part of our church family. We will also be praying as we approach the “opening week” – that we will see many come to know Jesus Christ as their Saviour here.

On Sunday 9th June, we will have another dedication event prepared for those who are from further afield. By this time, more of the building will be in operation and our guests – some of whom have prayed with us for these 35 years – will be able to enjoy seeing it all completed.
